REPUBLIC, WA–On an old TV show, Hee Haw, which many of you surely remember, the “gossip girls” performed a song in ongoing skits. The lyrics were, “you’ll never hear one of us repeating gossip, so you better be sure and listen close the first time.” That skit ran from 1969-71, and then in syndication for another two decades.
You may be asking what the title of this article and the above paragraph have to do with each other; maybe a little, maybe a lot, maybe nothing at all. Maybe some politicians remind me of characters on Hee Haw, but that would be an insult to the show.
The sad fact is, there’s a lot of gossip in politics, but you don’t really have to listen close the first time, because it will be repeated.
Politicians call them promises. They repeat their promises constantly. Unfortunately, very few ever intend to keep their promises; some do, but it’s a rarity. What you’ll never hear from onstage on the campaign trail—if the politician is serious about winning—is, “I took money from Big Pharma.”
Instead, you’ll hear, “I’ll work for you, I’ll defend your rights, I’ll uphold and defend the Constitution, I’ll, I’ll, I’ll”; on and on it goes.
Imagine: politician XYZ takes the stage at a campaign rally; there are flags, balloons and supporters in the crowd. In order to get the crowd pumped up, the candidate loudly exclaims, “I took money from BIG PHARMA!!” Imagine the crowd waving flags and signs, held high in the air, and they cheer wildly upon hearing this. Can you imagine that? Not happening, right? Those who came to check out a politician would leave, and the now-former supporters would be standing there, speechless with their mouths agape.
For lots of good reasons, Big Pharma is distrusted by the people; price gouging and people hurt by their products are the first two that come to mind. I specifically remember the cost of insulin as a recent news story. My wife is a diabetic and has to take multiple, daily shots. Thanks to President Trump, who brought this issue to the national forefront, prices dropped significantly.
Pharmaceutical companies also do much good, by providing medical necessities. The line between good and bad, however, is drawn when government mandates medical procedures—thus stripping you of your rights.
Given the current circumstances we find ourselves in with the China virus, and the talk of forced vaccinations, we should all question any politician’s alliance with Big Pharma. Anytime a politician takes money from someone, it becomes an obligation, even if small, to help their new “client,” the donor. What the donors expect in return is legislation that benefits them; it’s the old adage of, “I greased your palm, now you grease mine.” If the politician doesn’t grease, the contributions stop, and the candidate’s ability to run his or her campaign are hindered; money is necessary to getting your message out. Without donations to fund a campaign, you might as well be singing to yourself in the shower.
Crooked politicians have lined their campaign coffers and benefitted themselves with the help of special interest groups since time immemorial. Though I am not accusing every politician in the list below of crookedness, the concern that I, and many others have, is: what happens when legislation or rules come about that force people to get vaccinated? To whom do these politicians owe their allegiance?
I, for one, will rely on my medical doctor for advice on medical issues—NOT politicians, NOT Big Pharma and definitely NOT their appointed bureaucrats. Those of us who believe that we are free people cherish the freedoms to make our own choices and pathways in life. It is unconstitutional for government to force itself into the relationship between ourselves, our doctor and our health; we reject any government requirement to vaccinate ourselves, against our will and consent.
Individual freedom and liberty are what uniquely make us Americans. We must always be vigilant in checking where our representatives in government owe their allegiances. Is it to We the People? Time will tell how they vote or what they support. For now, we should be concerned about who supports them! It’s a huge red flag seeing people—especially those who say they are conservatives—who are supposed to represent We the People take money from Big Pharma.
There is a mandate currently being discussed in the State Capital of Washington by the leadership in both the Republican and Democratic parties, that would prohibit elected representatives from taking their seats, if they refuse vaccination. How will the politicians represent us if they can’t be seated? Who are these people in leadership representing, Big Pharma or you? I would expect totalitarian tactics such as these from socialist Democrats, but not from people who say they are conservatives or Republican.
Now is the time to let your voice be heard. We know what has happened. There is a war on small businesses going on all across the nation in socialist Democrat-controlled cities and states. Will we be allowed, by our servants in public office, to resume our businesses and our lives only after we are forced to be vaccinated by our “servant” government? Stay tuned; I believe that is coming and is their plan. While politicians receive donations from Big Pharma, and others, such as Minority Leader Wilcox, receive millions in COVID relief, is it any wonder there hasn’t been a big push to get our state opened up?
Below is the list of politicians in Washington State who are supported by Big Pharma. When the chips are down, and it’s time to support or deny rules and legislation, whose side are they on? Where have they been for the almost 12 months of shutdowns?
Take action, STAND UP and contact your elected servant to let them know how you feel. Are they YOUR representative, or Big Pharma’s? The first list is contributions from Pfizer, and the second, from Gilead; some took money from both. I’ve included Democrat and Republican. Unlike Hee Haw, you’ll never hear me repeating gossip, only truth; so listen close every time.
Here are the public servants (Republicans in BOLD) who took money from Big Pharma. Their personal contact numbers are listed so you can reach your elected public servants directly. Be sure to ask them why they took money from Big Pharma and ask them to PUBLICLY MAKE A PLEDGE TO VOTE AGAINST MANDITORY VACCINATIONS:
